We just returned from New York where we participated in another successful IP-in-Action LIVE event. We were showing the upcoming Version 2.0 of exacqVision. In addition, Dan Rittman, our Director of Engineering, spoke on Leveraging Digital Video Solutions for Today and the Future. Using several real-life case studies, Dan showed the need for working with existing analog cameras and infrastructure in addition to installing IP video cameras to solve today’s surveillance needs.
Speaking to the assembled crowd of Security and IT systems integrators, Dan used examples of recent exacqVision installations in a University, in a large retail chain, and in a multi-branch bank, to show how the hybrid nature of exacqVision enabled the reseller to win the business by providing the best elements of the customer’s existing analog infrastructure as well as adding the latest IP video products to provide the best solution for the customer’s video surveillance requirements.
Dan’s presentation will be available on the IP UserGroup USA website within the next couple of weeks. Our thanks again to Bruce Doneff for putting on another great conference. The next IP-in-Action LIVE event will be February 13, 2007, in Atlanta.
