exacqVision Version 1.1 Released
We released Version 1.1 of the exacqVision software yesterday. In addition to a number of performance improvements and bug fixes, PTZ control is now included for analog cameras. Support for popular PTZ protocols including Pelco D and Pelco P, up to 16 presets per camera, up to 32 PTZ cameras per exacqVision Pro server via the RS-485 input, ability to control which users can control which cameras, and more.
PTZ control in exacqVision can occur in any view from any client connected to the server. In the main exacqVision viewing screen above, a Pelco PTZ camera is being viewed in the upper left window. Moving the mouse around the window brings up “ghost” arrows allowing real-time, intuitive PTZ control while viewing.
Additionally, PTZ control and presets pop-up windows can be placed anywhere on the screen . These controls automatically switch to the active PTZ camera selected.
Presets are easy to configure and label. Complete user permission controls determine who can create presets, who can control cameras and who can view cameras, all on a camera-by-camera basis.
The updated exacqVision client and server can be downloaded from our downloads page here. The new versions can be installed over the existing versions and all existing user information (users, presets, cameras, servers, views, etc.) remains unchanged.
